Enter the world of Zabri where both beast and humans dwell, where the spirit world is accessable by anyone who dares brave the unkown and where Gods walk among their followers....
There are several different types of creatures that dwell in Zabri, Gods/Goddesses are powerful spirits that rule over different species of anthro, there is a god or goddess for each anthro species.
Anthros are beasts that have human-like habits (talking, walking upright etc.) but appear like an animal or have animal characteristics EX: a catgirl.
Shapeshifters are humans that can change into different forms, like animals.
Spirits are lower forms of Gods, they have small amounts of powers but cannot control any creature. They can bless or curse them however, they can give creatures gifts such as flight and magick or they can give them a curse like making them a lycanthrope.
Saha's (also known as leftwings) are beasts that have the gift of taking over a winged creatures body. They can throw themselves into a Bird anthros body and replace their soul. They can go into a bird's body (a bird like a blue jay) and soar freely inside them. When they are not inside another's body they appear like shadows.
Humans, just like us, they dwell all over the place.
Long ago there was an acient study called Mark-reading, this was the incredible ability to read marks, particularily Scorch Marks (when a flame is set somewhere, it leaves a burning mark, often leaving symbols and they contain a spell) if you can read the message found within the marks great things can be revealed. Some marks tell the future, past, present while some give way a spell or blessing. Not all marks are good however, some, when revealed, gave way a curse or evil spell to the one who read it.
eventual, through the fear of being cursed Mark-readers slowly became less and less, now very few are found...the 1222th year is arriving quickly, on the eve of the day marking the begining of the year of night the Gods will meet on Kumo Yama for the first time in over fifty years.
The Gods are awaiting the eve of the begining of the year of night for their meeting on Kumo Yama, there is much to be discussed...
Assassinations have been occuring all over the mainlands. many thoughts as to if they are an organized group were crushed when they discovered that each assasin left a seperate calling card. The royal family fears that they are in danger and the king has begun to assemble an army of patrol men who will search the land for any such assasins with hopes of destroying them. It was only afterwards that the king's advisor pointed out that the assassins must be working for someone....
